EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA opened a credit line for Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund for 200 million rubles

On the sidelines of the III Kyrgyz-Russian Business Forum, which is holding these days in Cholpon-Ata, Azer Talibov, Chairman of the Management Board of EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA JSC, signed an agreement with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund to open a special credit line for the Fund with a simplified procedure for granting funds in the amount of up to 200 million Russian rubles with a financing period of up to 36 months. It is planned that the credit line will be used to finance the supply of Russian export products to Kyrgyz buyers.

“We are developing our relationships with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, whose activities are aimed at promoting economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Our partnership will allow Russian exporters to strengthen their presence in Kyrgyzstan and access more attractive financing instruments,” Azer Talibov. According to him, the signed document will allow the Fund to apply to EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA JSC for urgent short-term financing to pay for supplies of Russian products.

The REC Group and VEB.RF are actively involved in achieving the goals of the “International Cooperation and Export” national project, which is designed to develop the export competitiveness of Russia for the next 10 years. The project’s benchmark is to achieve a 70 percent increase in non-resource non-energy exports in monetary terms by 2030.
